Orientation & Safety Class

Orientation & Safety Class:

This class is required to become a member of Central Carolina Gun Club. The class usually runs between 2 - 3 hours depending on the number of attendees. Class size is limited to 20 attendees, so please be sure to register for the class.

The class will walk through all the range rules (available here), have an open question & answer period, and have attendees demonstrate safe gun handling/operation by shooting at a paper target from about 20 feet. A handgun is preferred, but you may bring the firearm you intend to use most on the range (large caliber rifles cannot be used for orientation qualification).  Please bring hearing and eye protection.

Firearms must be unloaded before entering club property. Please park in gravel area next to picnic shelter and leave your firearms cased and in your car during the class portion.
