Dual Threat Carbine and Pistol Course

The Dual Threat Carbine and Pistol Course is a high-performance, one-day training experience designed to develop efficiency, accuracy, and confidence across both platforms.

Hosted by Richardson Precision & Training in collaboration with Zev Firearms Training.

Cost: $250 non-members, $200 for CCGC members

This course blends structured skill development with performance-based application to help shooters operate both rifle and pistol at a higher level.

Students will build a strong foundation in recoil control, target transitions, and visual processing before progressing into rifle-to-pistol transitions, positional shooting, and stage-style problem solving.

This is not a “stand and shoot” class—every drill is designed with intent, pushing students to maintain accountability on every shot while managing speed, movement, and decision-making.
Whether you’re a competitive shooter or serious defensive practitioner, this course will expose inefficiencies, reinforce fundamentals, and give you a clear path to measurable improvement.

• Rifle - 223/556/300blk out (no 22’s permitted)
• Sling - A two point or single point sling
• Rifle Optic - Optic Needs to be zeroed prior to the course. No zeroing work will be done in this course
• Ammo -200 rds of Rifle Ammo
• Semi auto pistol - 9mm or above is recommended, no 22’s and no revolvers
• Kydex Holster - Outside waistband Kydex holster ONLY (no serpa style holsters permitted) given the nature of this class working transitions.
