RANGE RULE REVIEW

30. Endorsements are not transferable to other members or guests, unless approved by the Executive Committee.

This means family members and guests cannot shoot under your endorsements.

RANGE CLOSURES

Please be advised Friday, October 13th ranges 1, 2 and 3 will close at 11 am for the remainder of the day for a non-club event. Ranges 4, 5, 6 and 7 will also close at 3 pm for the remainder of the day for the 2 Gun Match Set-Up.

CLUB ELECTIONS

Nominations from the September meeting are as follows:

President: Dennis Manson (accepted)

Vice President: John Bechtel (accepted)

2nd Vice President: Michael Rutchka (accepted)

Treasurer: David Devine (accepted)

Secretary: Carly Anderson (accepted)

Descriptions of the executive committee positions are in the Club's Bylaws, Article VII except for the 2nd Vice-President. This position acts as a delegated project manager, but all positions really work as one. The person best suited for the project/endeavor is more than welcome to take the lead. 

Nominations will be accepted up until the beginning of the October Annual Meeting. Absentee ballots will go out at the end of the week.


RIFLEMAN'S FALL CLASSIC

What is the Rifleman's Fall Classic? 

It's a fun two day friendly competition with vintage military rifles (bolt action or semi-automatic). Rifles must be in “as issue” configuration and caliber. You can attend one or both days. Limit of 60 shooters per day. Matches are open to the public too. Did we mention there are t-shirts, patches, decals and food for participants?!

GATE UPDATE

The gate has power and cards have been entered into the operating system. Just a few tweaks remain and the gate should be good to go. There will be a follow up communication when the electronic gate goes live (hopefully by Friday or Saturday). Stay Tuned!
