March 2018 Newsletter

Central Carolina Gun Club

29. Members are expected to leave the area free of used targets, trash and debris when they leave.

The weather is warming up - so it's time to head out to the range, am I right? I've seen quite a few emails regarding new membership cards and range access, so I though it worth while to mention here.

The white PVC membership cards you received in August 2017 are your membership cards going forward. There will no longer be yearly cards mailed out. This card is also your gate card - just hold it about 3 inches from the square next to the key pad and the gate will open and close automatically. If lost/stolen, please contact ASAP for replacement (and to deactivate lost card). There is a $20 replacement fee.

Speaking of range access, the range road work is done and looks fantastic!

Crystal D. Mann is up in West Virginia attending a long range instructional class. Hopefully this will tie up some final items left on the long range qualifications.

We're working on cleaning up ranges 4, 5, 6 and 7 - as well as some additional parking for events. It was pretty packed at the last 2-Gun Match!

2018 Cookout & Open House Schedule

Trying to add a few things to do this year. Please check the website page for up-to-date information.

08-APR - BUSY day on the range.

Ranges 4, 5, 6 and 7 will be closed until after the ZSA pistol match. First time running on these ranges, so not sure when that will wrap up.

The 200 yard reduced 600x3 match will be on Range 3 until about 2 pm.

The new member orientation class will need to use range 2 for an hour in the afternoon.
