Central Carolina Gun Club, Inc.


    1. Pay application fee invoice (Regular Membership $200/Founder Membership $1000). This can be paid at time of orientation class as well.
    2. Attend a Safety Orientation (please bring NRA and background paperwork and membership dues payment) - contact 336-223-3665 to schedule class.
    3. Your membership paperwork will reviewed at following club meeting.
    4. You will receive an email once your application for membership is approved. Please allow seven days to receive your gate card/membership badge and welcome letter once you receive the email.

Membership process must be completed within six (6) months. Applications over six months will be archived and any fees paid will be forfeit. If you cannot complete your application in six months, please contact the secretary or treasurer to request more time.


You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for membership to CCGCI.

You must provide documentation to show you have passed a criminal background check (please provide one of the documents listed below). This is a one time requirement. 

Note: CCGCI does not retain these records. Documentation is noted in your membership profile only.

    • Copy of your existing concealed handgun permit - both sides (we will honor out of state permits that have reciprocity),
    • Copy of criminal background check from your county sheriff.

    • You must be a current member in good standing with the NRA to be a member of CCGCI. You must maintain your membership with the NRA for continued membership with CCGCI.


Membership to CCGCI is prohibited if any of the conditions apply:

  • Convicted of a felony.
  • Convicted of a domestic violence misdemeanor, also referred to as a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
  • Is on probation and does not have the court’s written permission to possess a firearm;
  • Has been found not guilty of a crime by reason of insanity;
  • Has been determined to not have the mental capacity to proceed in a criminal case;
  • Is an illegal drug user or an addict;
  • Has been found to be mentally incompetent by a judge or has been committed to any mental institution;
  • Is an illegal immigrant in the United States or has renounced his or her citizenship; or
  • Has been discharged from the armed forces under dishonorable conditions.
