The formal criteria for Field Target range endorsement are as follows:

1. Attend a FT match or formal practice session (announced at least 7 days prior and posted on the site)
2. Read and agree to abide by the current year AAFTA safety rules while on the FT range
3. Agree to the unique aspects of the FT range
   • No firearms on the FT range
   • No airguns with power levels greater than 20 ft-lbs are allowed
4. Get written endorsement from the Rangemaster, FT Match Director or designee.
